Newcastle Emlyn

Newcastle Emlyn is a small town located 14 miles northwest of Carmarthen on the A484. The town developed around the C13 castle overlooking the river Teifi – though only ruins remain today. During the C18 and C19 this was an important part of the drover’s route through Wales
